Sector No. 8 in April this area was operational area of ​​Kushtia, Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Faridpur and Patuakhali districts. Regular forces penetrated inside 7-8 miles of Bangladesh and established a situation in which the Pak army was motivated to attack them. In this arrangement, a large number of Pak army soldiers were attacked by the freedom fighters.
